Ok, confession time. My family home burned down back at the end of June and I am just getting back up to speed now.. Sure, I’ve done some pretty sweet shit in the meantime, started a couple of new hobbies, etc.. Will probably post some more details about that later, but there’s also been alot of “wallowing” and “self-pity” and other things that are just uncharacteristic of me..
One of the very worst results of being suddenly out of house and home has been the impact on my diet/fitness. Now, 100% this falls into the ‘excuses’ category, since the very simple rules I was following before disaster struck could be followed by a goose in a top-hat if they tried.. But I let it derail me completely. I haven’t counted a calorie or tracked a macro since the fire. And trust me…. There’s been ALOT of calories since then.
So yeah, I’m off the wagon, wanna fight about it? I’m working myself back up to getting back on board. Will keep you all posted.
