News today in the turtle realm, there’s a new “16-bit”-esque beat’em up coming out for PC and Consoles.
The trailer went for an interesting angle, remixing the ’87 turtles cartoon theme and laying it over all new animation and a tone that’s closer to the ’03 turtles.. I can dig it, but time will tell if they do our tmnt justice with the gameplay.
The trailer isn’t clear if this is just a straight-up remake of turtles in time with a new splash of paint or if it’s an all new title. I’m onboard for either but would enjoy a new take over a remaster. It’s not like it’s difficult to fire up turtles in time or hyperstone heist for those of us who really still want to play the 16-bit classics.. So I’m hoping they opt to build on the foundation of those games instead.
I’m keeping a close eye on this.
